The true style of American vintage doesn’t come from denim or 30s based design but even further back in time. American Gothic was what punctuated farm house design for settlers all across the country. This home is trying to make that old style a contemporary feature throughout. From the untouched exposed beams keeping the property standing, to the open plan kitchen area and original sink there remains a true vintage feel throughout. The chrome bathtub has a wood finish on top to keep the original feel going on in the bathroom. One entry way negates plastering over the wall and instead exposes the old roof space by tiling it even though it’s indoors.
